Getting started
What is Korgo?
Korgo is a free iOS app for the food you keep at home. Add groceries as you bring them in, see everything you own on one screen, and get a notification before anything goes bad. Task and shopping lists are built in, and Korgo Pro adds recipes based on what you already have and analytics that show what you use and what you throw away.
How do I add groceries?
Scan the barcode and Korgo fills in the product name and nutrition for you. You can also search for a product by name, and if it isn't in the database, create it yourself.
Where does the product information come from?
Product names and nutrition come from Open Food Facts, an open food database. Korgo uses a local copy of it, so no personal data is sent to Open Food Facts.
Is Korgo available on Android?
Not yet. Korgo is iOS-first for now, and Android support is coming soon.
Pantry and expiration
How do expiration alerts work?
Korgo keeps track of each product's expiration date and notifies you before it goes bad, so you can use it in time. Notifications need your permission.
Does Korgo tell me whether food is safe to eat?
No. Korgo reminds you about dates, but it can't see the food itself. Always check food before eating it — and remember that use-by and best-before dates mean different things. We explain the difference in Use-by vs best-before.
Does Korgo track nutrition?
Yes. Calories, protein, fat and carbs are filled in automatically when you scan a product, and it's part of the free version.
Can I keep a shopping list in Korgo?
Yes. Personal task and shopping lists are free. With Korgo Family, lists are shared with your household and tasks can be assigned to each other.

Is Korgo free?
Yes. Pantry inventory, expiration alerts, barcode scanning, nutrition tracking, and personal task and shopping lists are all free. Recipes and pantry analytics come with Korgo Pro. Sharing with your household comes with Korgo Family.
What's included in Korgo Pro?
200+ recipes built around what's already in your pantry, plus pantry analytics that show what you actually use and what you keep throwing away.
What's included in Korgo Family?
Everything in Korgo Pro, shared with up to 4 household members besides you: one pantry the whole household can see and update, shared task and shopping lists you can assign to each other, and shared analytics for the group.
Is there a free trial?
New subscribers get a 3-day free trial on the annual Pro plan and a 7-day free trial on the annual Family plan. Monthly plans don't include a trial.
Can I switch from Pro to Family?
Yes. Upgrading takes effect immediately, and the App Store refunds the unused part of your current subscription on a prorated basis.
How do I cancel my subscription?
On your iPhone, go to Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends to avoid renewal.
Sharing with your household
Does everyone in my household need their own subscription?
No. One Family subscription gives every member of the group full access.
Who can see our shared pantry?
Only the people you invite to your group. Every member can view and update the shared pantry and lists; the group's owner manages who's in it.
What happens to my products when I join a family group?
They move into the shared pantry, so the whole household sees one kitchen. Nothing is duplicated.
What happens when I leave a family group?
The food stays in the shared pantry — it's still in that kitchen, and so is its history. You go back to your own personal pantry.
What happens to the shared pantry if the owner deletes their account?
The group and all of its shared data are permanently deleted. Members are notified where possible.
What happens if the Family subscription ends?
The shared pantry and its full history go back to the owner as their personal pantry, and members lose access to it. If the owner renews, it becomes the household's shared pantry again.
Account and privacy
What data does Korgo collect?
Account information, the content you create, and basic diagnostic data. No ads, no cross-app tracking, and your data is never sold. The full breakdown is in our Privacy Policy.
How do I delete my account?
Go to the Profile screen and tap Delete Account. Your account and data are deleted immediately and can't be restored. Deleting your account doesn't cancel an App Store subscription — cancel it separately in Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions. You can also email support@korgo.app and we'll process the deletion for you.
