Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

  • By downloading or using Korgo, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

  • Korgo is a household food management tool providing pantry tracking, expiration monitoring, shopping lists, nutritional analytics, and recipe suggestions. While we provide expiration alerts and nutritional data sourced from third-party databases, Korgo is not responsible for the actual safety, quality, or fitness for consumption of any food product. Always inspect food manually before consumption.
  • Nutritional information is for informational purposes only and does not constitute medical or dietary advice.

3. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

Korgo offers two subscriptions: Pro Access, available on a monthly or annual basis, and Family, also available on a monthly or annual basis. The current price of each plan, including any introductory offer, is displayed in the app before you complete a purchase and varies by App Store region and applicable taxes. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.

Billing — iOS (Apple)

  • Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID account via the App Store.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
  • To cancel, go to Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions on your iOS device.
  • All refund requests must be directed to Apple Support at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Billing — Android (Google Play)

  • Subscriptions are managed through your Google Play account.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
  • To cancel, go to Google Play → Subscriptions.
  • Refund requests are subject to Google Play's refund policy at play.google.com/intl/en/about/play-terms/.
  • A 7-day free trial is available on the Family annual plan for new subscribers.
  • A 3-day free trial is available on the Pro annual plan for new subscribers.
  • Monthly plans do not include a free trial.
  • Unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription automatically converts to a paid annual subscription at the price shown at the time of purchase.
  • Each trial is available once per account. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited if a paid subscription is purchased before the trial period ends.

Plan Changes

  • Upgrading to a higher plan (for example, from Pro to Family) takes effect immediately. The unused portion of your current subscription is refunded on a prorated basis by the platform.
  • Downgrading to a lower plan takes effect at your next renewal date. You keep access to your current plan until then.
  • Switching between monthly and annual billing within the same plan takes effect at your next renewal date.

4. Family / Group Features

When you create or join a Group (shared Pantry, shared Task lists):

  • The Group creator (Owner) is responsible for managing membership — inviting and removing members.
  • All Group members can view and edit shared data within the Group.
  • If the Owner deletes their account, the Group and all associated shared data will be permanently deleted. Members will be notified where possible.
  • You are responsible for the content you add to shared lists. Do not add false, misleading, or harmful product information.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use Korgo for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or another user's account.
  • Add false or misleading product data to shared household lists.
  • Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or abuse the service.
  • Harass or harm other Group members.

6. Intellectual Property

  • All rights in the Korgo app, its design, trademarks, and content (excluding user-generated content) are owned by Dzmitry Lashkevich / Korgo. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. If you obtained the app from the Apple App Store, the scope of this licence is further described in Section 14.
  • By adding data to Korgo (product entries, pantry lists, etc.), you retain ownership of your content and grant Korgo a limited license to store, process, and display it solely to provide the service to you.

7. Accuracy of Data

  • We use the Open Food Facts database (bundled as a local snapshot) for product and nutritional information. We cannot guarantee the 100% accuracy or completeness of this data. Always verify critical nutritional or allergen information with the product's official packaging.
  • Product and nutritional data in Korgo is derived from the Open Food Facts database, which is made available under the Open Database License (ODbL) v1.0. The full license text is available at opendatacommons.org/licenses/odbl/1-0/.
  • Individual product images sourced from Open Food Facts, where used, are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike (CC-BY-SA) license.
  • Open Food Facts is an independent collaborative project and is not affiliated with Korgo. Open Food Facts does not endorse Korgo. Source: openfoodfacts.org
  • Recipe content in Korgo was compiled for this application from publicly available culinary knowledge and is not reproduced from any third-party recipe publisher. Rights in the resulting recipe text are held by Korgo.

9. Disclaimer of Warranty

  • The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that any particular feature will remain available in the future.

10. Limitation of Liability

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, Korgo and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the service, including but not limited to data loss, food spoilage, or financial loss.

11. Changes to These Terms

  • We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via in-app notification or email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the app after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Termination

  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or abuse the service. You may terminate your account at any time via Settings → Account → Delete Account.

13. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Belarus, without regard to conflict of law principles. For users in the European Union, mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence also apply.

If you obtained Korgo from the Apple App Store, the following terms apply in addition to everything set out above. In the event of any conflict between this section and the rest of these Terms, this section prevails for App Store users.

  • Acknowledgement — These Terms are concluded between you and Korgo (Dzmitry Lashkevich) only, and not with Apple. Korgo alone is responsible for the app and its content.
  • Scope of licence — The licence granted to you is non-transferable and limited to use of the app on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules set out in the App Store Terms of Service.
  • Maintenance and support — Korgo is solely responsible for providing maintenance and support for the app. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance or support services.
  • Warranty — In the event of any failure of the app to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of the app to you. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the app.
  • Product claims — Korgo, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app, including product liability claims, any claim that the app fails to conform to any legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation.
  • Intellectual property claims — In the event of a third-party claim that the app or your use of it infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, Korgo, not Apple, is solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement, and discharge of that claim.
  • Legal compliance — You represent and warrant that you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  • Developer contact — The app is provided by Korgo, developer Dzmitry Lashkevich. For questions, complaints, or claims relating to the app, contact support@korgo.app.
  • Third-party terms — You agree to comply with any applicable third-party terms of agreement when using the app.
  • Third-party beneficiary — Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary of these Terms.
